Overview Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Hanoi, transfer to hotel for 2 nights
Day 2: Halong bay excursion
Day 3: Hanoi city tour, fly to Ho Chi Minh city
Day 4: Cu Chi tunnels excursion, afternoon fly to Siem Reap
Day 5: Full day discover Angkor Wat
Day 6: Tonle Sap Lake touring, enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance
Day 7: Depart Siem Reap
DAY 01: ARRIVE HANOI
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, met by our representative and transfer to hotel for check-in. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 02: HANOI – HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)
Have breakfast at the hotel. Head to Ha Long Bay, it takes about 4 hours to transfer. Upon arrival in Halong pier, board the junk to visit Halong Bay. Enjoy 4 hours fantastic cruise with thousands of picturesque rocky islets of all shapes and sizes. Explore Dau Go cave, Thien Cung grotto, and round over Tuan Chau Island, Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island and Sail Island. Turn back to boat station; depart for Hanoi in the late afternoon. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 03: HA NOI CITY TOUR – FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up from hotel to take a full day city tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, a lovely park setting which are home of Ho Chi Minh’s final resting place, as well as museum and other memorials. Stroll past with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (will be closed on Monday and Friday) where visitors can pay respects to the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. Continue through the park to Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, the simple two-room dwelling where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1948 until his final days. Preserved in the same condition as during his life, it may be viewed through the windows. Continue to the miniature One Pillar Pagoda. Also dating from the 11th century, this monument was rebuilt after being destroyed by the French in 1954. Then proceed to visit Museum Of Ethnology - which focuses on the 54 officially, recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. In the afternoon, you will visit to Temple Of Literature, a peaceful series of walled courtyards and graceful gateways, and one of the best serving examples of traditional Vietnamese architecture. Founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, this was also the site of Vietnam’s first university. Also visit to Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple and Hanoi's Old Quarter, known for its 36 streets and former craft guilds. Then transfer to the airport for the flight to Saigon. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to hotel. Accommodation at hotel in Saigon.
DAY 04: SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS – FLY TO SIEM REAP (B/L)
After breakfast, a one and half hour drive takes you to Cu Chi Underground Tunnel where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Ho Chi Minh for the flight to Siem Reap. On arrival in Siem Reap, meet our guide and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 05: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT TOUR (B/D)
Breakfast at hotel, explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, The famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300 meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon - huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas - impressive rite and sandstone pyramid.
Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall with deeply carved nag as, demons and other mythological beings. Last you will visit Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty. Giant trees have grown here for centuries. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon visit Angkor Wat temple, the founder of the temple was Suryavarman II who reined Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century to dedicate to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction. Then it is time to view a romantic sunset view at Pre Rup temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 06: SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP LAKE (B/D)
Welcome by tour guide at hotel at 1400 for transferring to visit Floating Villages, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap! Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here you’ll see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap. Enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance and have a funny time at Angkor night market. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 07: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (B)
Today you will be transferred to airport for your departure flight with sweet memories
