DAY 01: ARRIVE HO CHI MINH
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, met by our representative and transfer to hotel for check-in. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 02: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA (B/L)
After breakfast, drive to My Tho. Upon arrival, take a boat trip on Mekong River that covers areas of My Tho fish-farm and 4 islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix. Land at Thoi Son island, visit the traditional coconut candy factory, stopover at local house for relaxing where you can enjoy taste of seasonal fresh fruits, honey tea with jams, while enjoy Southern traditional music performance. Rowing on sampans along the canals of Mekong River covered with shady water coconut trees. Lunch will be served with the Mekong Delta specialty. After that, return to Ho Chi Minh City, visit the War Museum, China Town, Thien Hau Temple and Ben Thanh Market. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 03: CU CHI TUNNELS – FLY TO HANOI (B/L
After breakfast, a one and half hour drive takes you to Cu Chi Underground Tunnel where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Ho Chi Minh for the flight to Ha Noi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to hotel. Accommodation at hotel in Ha Noi.
DAY 04: HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI (B/L)
After breakfast, depart Hanoi for Ninh Binh province and enjoy the drive through the luxurious vegetation of the Red River Delta. Arrive at Hoa Lu, the capital of Vietnam under the Dinh and Le dynasties between 968 and 1009. Discover beautiful shrines dedicated to the Emperor Le Dinh, the first ruler to unify the country. Aside from this important historical site, this region is also worth a visit for its rolling hills and picturesque rocky landscapes. Continue on to Tam Coc and take a local sampan up the river through karst hills and rice fields on a traditional boat, a photographer’s paradise. Sometimes referred to as ‘Ha Long Bay on land’, for some its beauty surpasses that of its coastal rival. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Enjoy water puppet show. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 05: HANOI – HA LONG CRUISE (B/L/D)
7.30 – 8.00 Shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel (driver pick up/without guide), and depart for the 3.5 hour drive that takes you through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay, which has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arriving in Halong, board a wooden junk are designed in time-honoured traditional style, with contemporary and luxurious cabins and facilities. Set sail on a join-in cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving you the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage site. While on board, you will be served a sumptuous fresh seafood lunch. There will be opportunities to swim on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck and visit one of the most beautiful limestone grotto. When the sun sets, we will drop anchor for the night, near a remote island. This junk has a lovely dining room, bar, and private bedrooms with showers. Accommodation on board in Halong Bay.
DAY 06: HA LONG – HANOI (B)
Morning enjoy the sunrise breakfast with tea, coffee, milk, cake, etc. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. Cruises back to the dock while brunch is served while you are cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Boat arrive at harbor by noon for the drive back to your hotel in Hanoi by shuttle bus (driver pick up/without guide). Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 07: HA NOI CITY TOUR – FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up from hotel to take a full day city tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, a lovely park setting which is home to Ho Chi Minh’s final resting place, as well as a museum and other memorials. Stroll past with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (will be closed on Monday and Friday) where visitors can pay respects to the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. Continue through the park to Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, the simple two-room dwelling where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1948 until his final days. Preserved in the same condition as during his life, it may be viewed through the windows. Continue to the miniature One Pillar Pagoda. Also dating from the 11th century, this monument was rebuilt after being destroyed by the French in 1954. Then proceed to visit Museum Of Ethnology - which focuses on the 54 officially, recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam.
In the afternoon, you will visit to Temple Of Literature, a peaceful series of walled courtyards and graceful gateways, and one of the best serving examples of traditional Vietnamese architecture. Founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, this was also the site of Vietnam’s first university. Also visit to Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple and Hanoi's Old Quarter, known for its 36 streets and former craft guilds. Then transfer to airport for the flight to Siem Reap. On arrival in Siem Reap, meet our guide and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 08: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT TOUR (B/D)
Breakfast at hotel, explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, The famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300 meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon - huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas - impressive rite and sandstone pyramid.
Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall with deeply carved nag as, demons and other mythological beings. Last you will visit Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty. Giant trees have grown here for centuries. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon visit Angkor Wat temple, the founder of the temple was Suryavarman II who reined Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century to dedicate to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction. Then it is time to view a romantic sunset view at Pre Rup temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 09: SIEM REAP - TONLE SAP LAKE (B/D)
Welcome by tour guide at hotel at 1400 for transferring to visit Floating Villages, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap! Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here you’ll see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap. Enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance and have a funny time at Angkor night market! Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 10: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (B)
Today you will be transferred to airport for your departure flight with sweet memories.
