Day 01: Arrival in Saigon
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh you will be greeted by our travel guide and taken to your hotel. Ho Chi Minh (formerly Saigon) is located on the Saigon River and is known for elegant avenues and French colonial buildings. The rest of the day is at leisure. The hotel room is available from 2 pm. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.
Day 02: Saigon (B/L)
Today we experience the bustle of this big city with a small tour. It takes you to the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, the War Museum and the lively Ben Thanh Market. In the afternoon we plunge into the orderly chaos of Chinatown with the Binh Tay Market and the Thien Hau Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.
Day 03: Saigon - Ben Tre - Saigon (B/L)
In the morning we leave the bustling city and drive to the Mekong Delta. This region with its fertile soils and seemingly endless rice fields is also known as "rice bowl" of Vietnam. In Ben Tre you will be on a small boat to get interesting insights into the everyday life of the locals along the canals. The province is mainly known for its green, lush coconut gardens and the local specialty coconut sweets. During the boat trip, we stop at a small brickyard and a coconut processing plant, where you can admire the traditional and craftsmanship. Enjoy a walk along the peaceful village trail, tasting honey tea and fresh fruit. With an "tuk-tuk" or bike we continue through coconut gardens, rice fields and orchards. A boat trip in the labyrinth of waterways lined with palm trees brings us back to the pier. Transfer back to Saigon. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.
Day 04: Saigon – Phan Thiet/Mui Ne (B)
Transfer in the morning to Mui Ne, where endless white sand beaches, charming fishing villages and impressive dunes await you. Overnight stay in Mui Ne.
